The manual adjustment method is to select the mechanical equipment subsystem in the metering pump driver organization to change the four stroke length or reasonable four stroke length of the pump in the range of 0 ~ 100%, so as to achieve the goal of adjusting the total flow. The manual adjustment method includes:

1. Adjustable axial force organization adjustment

The adjustable axial force organization is to adjust the screw of extruder according to the adjustment of metering pump, and then change the eccentricity of metering pump axial force organization, so as to change the stroke arrangement of metering pump plunger pump. The change of piston pump stroke arrangement immediately changes the displacement of each four stroke of the metering pump, so the total output flow of the metering pump changes with the change.

This kind of adjustment method is to adjust the high value total flow of the four stroke. With the change of the total flow of the metering pump, the impact and harm of the total flow pulsating beverage on the pipeline system software will also change. Variable axial force adjustment organization is widely used in metering pumps, especially for metering pumps with long time load and harsh natural environment. Most of them choose this adjustment method, and only a few brands choose crank and connecting rod adjustment organization.

2. Reasonable adjustment of four stroke length

Reasonable four stroke adjustment is also called hydraulic press bypass adjustment. Reasonable four stroke length adjustment and adjustable axial force structure adjustment are different. Reasonable four stroke adjustment structure does not change the four stroke length of metering pump immediately. In the whole process of adjustment, the four stroke length of metering pump plunger pump fitness exercise does not change immediately. The reasonable adjustment of four stroke length is to change the four stroke length of the diaphragm of the specific driver of the plunger pump by using the opening and closing of the bypass of the hydraulic press, that is, to change the reasonable length of the work done by the driver of the plunger pump. According to the change of the reasonable four stroke of the piston pump, and then change the exhaust volume of each four stroke, change the total output flow of the metering pump.

Because the reasonable four stroke adjustment does not immediately change the length of the four stroke of the piston pump, the high value of the total flow curve is not easy to change with the reasonable four stroke change. Reasonable four stroke adjustment is only used for diaphragm metering pump of hydraulic press, which is a simple organization with reasonable and stable adjustment. It is basically used for adjustment of metering pump with low and medium load. Reasonable four stroke adjustment method has been listed in the third edition of api675 as one of the four stroke adjustment methods of metering pump.
